Olivia Ong At City Square On 25 July
Saw the talented singer Olivia Ong at the City Square and took some pictures.
She can really sing well. Or is that the understatement of the year? She’s really beautiful as well as you can see for yourself.
She was there as she is the current spokesperson for the Kose brand of skincare and cosmetic.
Have been reading a history book on the First World War, “The Guns of August”, written by Barbara Tuchman which is superb reading so far. It reads like a thriller more than a historical account. It details the first month of the second most devastating war that mankind has ever experienced from the perspective of the 4 main countries- Germany, France, Britain and Russia.
It shows how the combatants involved made their fateful decisions in the absence of all information. Or in spite of reality staring at them in their face. Rather like investment decisions if you think about it.
Before the visit to City Square, I went to borrow this investment book from the Central Library titled, “The Gone Fishin’ Portfolio” by Alexander Green which is promising so far. I will review this book after I have read more of it.
